Pin Maps - Cycle 1

This week for Wonderful Wednesday's we kicked off our Pin Maps and Passports!  We had a lot of fun!  We used T pins for most of the maps but one family had a little one at home and decided to use two sided sticky tape to attach them to the maps instead, which also looked great.  The kids enjoyed pinning them and identifying the first 3 weeks of locations we've learned.  We then stamped their passports after one terrific Mom explained what real Passports are used for and how they work.  We used the five in a row pre-made stamps and then affixed an additional flag label to it and used our office depot date stamp to stamp the day's date on it for each of them.  We of course, also did our lapbooks together and filled in, chanted and pasted the appropriate materials for our Week 3.

  1. HI! This may be a really dumb question, but I'm assuming you took the CC map and enlarged it/laminated it at Kinkos? Thanks!
