ON SALE! Enrichment Teaching Plan -Cycle 1

Just in time for the planning season that kicks off with the Practicums and summer!  Sit back and relax, enjoy your summer, because I've done all the hard work for you.  I've spent the hours searching for relevant activities, projects, information, games, pin maps and even made some copy work pages for you!  The Enrichment Teaching Plan is for those parents who are looking for a way to build out the memory work each week with activities that track along with the concepts being covered in Cycle 1.  For about .62 cents a week, you can have all the planning done for you and just enjoy your summer and school year!!

The Enrichment Teaching Plan provides activities for each subject and each week to choose from, based on your own family's interests and time.  Activities can be completed with individual children all the way up to a group setting of parents getting together to build deeper community ties.  These Enrichment Plans provide opportunities to place memory work in context for your learners in both lower and upper elementary, to broaden their exposure and give additional points of reference for the memory work.  The purpose is not to "teach" all the areas presented, but to select from the various areas of interest, as time and parent-teacher purposes dictate.

This year's Cycle 1 Plan features:
  • 24 weeks of a variety of activities across all subject areas.
  • Pin maps for the geography
  • Copy work sheets for the Latin and Math
If you are interested in doing a Wonderful Wednesday, then you can merely look at the top of this page to find the Cycle 1 Wonderful Wednesday tab for plenty of ideas from Cycle 1 the previous time we covered it in our Wonderful Wednesday class.  You can also visit my Pinterest page for Cycle 1 to get ideas as well.

Happy planning!

What are other's saying about the Teaching Plans???

"These plans are a real powerhouse of research as synced up with Classical Conversations. No brainer for helping you flesh out your memory work each week. Real time saver and curriculum enhancer all in one "

"As a classical homeschooling mom of 3, I love your Teaching Plan!  It has brought a creative flare to our days and the plan allows me more time to spend teaching my children, as it already has an enrichment plan laid out for me! My children are from Foundations up to Challenge levels and we use it for all of them!  It brings my family together! Thank you for all your time and effort in creating this!"

"I love your blog!  Your plan breaks up our days and interjects fun into our weeks.  While I'm focused on the grammar stages with my children the majority of our week, it is a nice way to do something fun with them that is still providing educational content relative to their week of learning.  Great idea!  Thank you so much for sharing it all!"

"Thank you so much.  This resource is great and I appreciate you creating it.  As a tutor I find it hard to find time to research all of these things at home on a weekly basis and get ready to tutor.  Your plans with the links have been a real blessing to me.  Thanks again"

"I've bought your lesson plans and we are loving them!! They are awesome!! Thank you thank you for all the good stuff!"

"Thank you so much.  I am soooooo excited about getting your teaching plan.  I have been floundering and this will be a great blessing to my daughter and I.  Love your blog."

"I just want to thank you for putting together the lesson plans for CC.  It has been a huge time saver for me.  We have enjoyed the variety of activities, too.  We also have a 'Review Day' group with friends once a week and I love that you have that, as well."

"Thank you and thank you for sharing all your hard work:)"

  5. Thank you so much for taking the time to prepare these plans! I was wondering if you were planning to release a Wonderful Wednesday Cycle 1 file for us to purchase? I've used WW for Cycles 2 & 3 and my family loves it!!

    1. Sunny - Thank you for the question and comment. :) I decided this year since there are already the activities on the Wonderful Wednesday Cycle 1 Tab of my webpage, that I wouldn't officially make them this year. You can also easily go to my Pinterest page https://www.pinterest.com/solagratiamom/ and there are Cycle 1 Wonderful Wednesday Boards for weeks 1-12 and 13-24 -that is all the Cycle 1 WW projects from the plan three years ago. :) Hope that helps! Blessings - Colleen

  6. I was wondering about how long each day it would take to implement your ideas? Just trying to figure out if this is something we have time to add into our day. Thanks.

    1. It really is up to you on how many activities you choose to do. Some do an activity each day and others set aside a day to just review memory work and then spend the rest of the day doing projects and exploring the memory work deeper through the teaching plan. It's a very flexible plan. Blessings -Colleen
