Wisdom and Righteousness -Orchestra Lapbook (Review)

If you have been following me, then you know that Lapbooking is part of our Wonderful Wednesday mornings and the lapbooks I prefer for their colorful layout and creatively interactive pieces, is none other than those from Karen Gill over at www.wisdomandrighteousness.com.  So I'm super excited to tell you about her fantastic new resource, that I just got done previewing.  It's called A Complete Study Guide and Lapbook for The Orchestra with Composers Beethoven, Brahms & Dvorak!  This lapbook is a creative way for parents or Tutors in their classrooms, to teach the Fine Arts section for Weeks 19-24 from the Classical Conversation's® Foundation's Curriculum Guide.

Here is a look below at the layout of the lapbook.  She has covered all the major areas of study for the orchestra, from seating charts to vocabulary to timeline and then the Composers themselves.

In addition, she gives you a well written study guide for that day.  It covers what preparation you must do, along with materials you need and then detailed instructions with full script for introducing, discussing and listening through that week's piece/composer.   Her Guide is formally broken down into four sections 1) Scope 2) Preparation 3) Instructions and 4) Digging Deeper.  Here is a sample page below...

Her lapbook downloads are available in three options:  Group Use, Tutor or Small Groups and Individual.  I would recommend considering this for your home, class or even Community wide as a creative way to study the Classical and Romantic Period Composers for Weeks 19-24!  You can see more details along with pricing at ORCHESTRA BOOK OPTIONS.  This is a Solagratiamom™ recommend for creatively, classically educating!
